with the genders switched?
You know, instead of Simba having a daughter, he has a son. Instead of Scar's heir being male, his heir is a girl.
I know it's sounds silly for Zira to train her daughter to take down an alpha lion

, but I would like your opinion on this.

Yeh it could work, I mean people are obsessed with the whole Kopa+Vitani stupid love thing, so it must work for them

I'd assume the fact that some girls can be stronger then boys means that it COULD of worked, but it's most likely the way it was, was the best way of presenting the story.

Yeah it probably could have worked, but I think it's probably better the way it is.

I think it could have worked, but I doubt Scar would have chosen Vitani as his heiress because what he wanted more than anything was for Simba to be killed. I think for that job Scar would have wanted someone who was (or would at least grow into) a physical match for Simba, so looking at it that way. Choosing Vitani instead of Kovu would not have made tactical sense.

No, Vitani has nothing to do with it. We're talking about if Kovu was female, and Kiara was male. This has nothing to do with the theory of Kopa+Vitani.

Oh O. K. However my reasoning is still the same, Scar wanted Simba dead, and a Lion would still have a better chance of overpowering Simba than a Lioness would.

Well, I looked at the movies again, and Nala was capable of defeating Simba in their fight in the jungle, and Zira knocked Simba, who was much stronger and healthier than he was during the ending of the film, off his feet with one hit during the battle in The Lion King II. With that said, a lioness would stand a chance in overpowering Simba as Nala and Zira managed to do so.
