So I'd like to get people's opinions on what actually killed Zira. Even though we all watch the same scene, I'm sure people have different interpretations of what actually killed her. I think it was the water, and that the logs didn't really have anything to do with it, but that's just me.
So do tell
I added the option of her not dying to cause a conspiracy

I personally think she drowned, but that's just me.

I think she drowned. As for the logs, I'm not sure what impact they could have had as far as damage goes.

When I first saw The Lion King 2, I thought that Zira chose to kill herself instead of letting Kiara help her. It was only later that I read that Disney didn't want to make it look like a suicide and removed what was going to be a smile on her face as she fell.

I am going to say that it's an unintentional 'win'. If you know what a suicide is, Zira clearly goes down that path. If you don't know what a suicide is, Zira simply lost her grip and fell.

Yeah ^ She didn't deliberately choose to kill herself, but she did choose not to let Kiara help her, knowing that it was her only chance of surviving. So yeah, one could definitely say that she chose to die.

The impact of the fall could have killed her or at least damaged her, but if that's not the case then she drowned. I like to think she survived, though.

She fell from a pretty high distance, and would have hurt herself badly when hitting the water. I doubt that alone would kill her, so I think she drowned, pulled under by the strong currents.

I think it was from the drowing idea. Or maybe the logs. Not too sure.
