Why do the lionesses tails change? They fade into another color. Cool, huh? But also weird.

The sixth and seventh from the left look like rats with those pink tails

It might just be concealed...
Either way though, it is either a lack of quality or perhaps it is meant as a form of lighting of some kind, as well? I mean after all, not all of them change colour in the picture. Seems to be some kind of delusional shading / lighting.

I'm pretty sure the cause of this effect is shading and the lighting. The lighting especially, since it has a real menagerie of intense colors from the sunset.
