I've had a dislike for Timon and Pumbaa and I was wondering how other people felt about them...
Thoughts?

Yep. Timon would be a chew toy while Pumbaa is endless bacon

I have nothing against them. While they are not part of the "epic" storyline, they do provide a parallel storyline and comic relief. Its classic Disney.

I don't hate them at all in TLK; in fact I think they're pretty funny.
However if we're talking about SP and TLK 1.5, they really get on my nerves, especially Timon and his selfish attitude.

Yeah. I
hated them in SP and TLK3 could have been about a gazillion better things then Timon and Pumbaa

I love Timon and Pumbaa in TLK, their humor, their lines. They actually save Simba, support him and fight with him in the end.
In SP... ugh... They are unfunny, badly used... But that's SP's writer's fault, we can't blame the characters and the original writers for that. I feel that SP's crew wrote a plot around Kovu and Kiara and the new characters and just randomly include the originals for the sake of it, like Nala, Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki... These characters make no sense in SP.
In TLK 1 1/2... ugh... you can see they're overused. Timon and Pumbaa can't carry a movie, even if it's a comedy. They're better with good writing, good plot and as secondary characters.
