If Simba had stuck to his I Just Can't Wait to be King attitude?

What I mean by this is, what if he'd fired Zazu? Not married Nala? Done it all his way, all the time?

Then he wouldnt be a great king if hed did that. But if scar wasnt in the movie then i think yea he wouldnt marry nala hed fired zazu. he would do it his way like he said. but then he would go down by popularaty as a character in shome websites.

Yea zazu was right he would be and nala would be sad if simba would do that. ofcourse if scar wasnt in the movie! xD

I think Zazu's prediction, that Amanda has so eloquently pointed out, would have come true.

He would of abused his power, in fact it would probably turn out somewhat the way it did when Scar got his paws on the kingdom.

Simba's Kingdom would fall apart in a sad pathetic pile. Imagine him crawling up to Nala begging for her to marry him and begging Zazu to come back

It would be much like when Scar was king, I suppose.

Everyone has made valid points, although one other thing to consider is that if Scar wasn't in the movie. Mufasa would not have been killed. With Mufasa there to continue to raise and guide Simba, Simba would have been made to understand the responsibilities of a King as well as the importance of having a trusted Majordomo. However I also think that had Simba and Nala asked Mufasa to let them break their betrothal. He would have (however reluctantly) allowed it ( Knowing that the kingdom could not prosper if the King and Queen did not truly love each other. While hoping that given some time and space they would come to their senses). I don't believe that Simba and Nala would have fallen in love until either Nala found the courage to tell Simba how she felt, or until another lion look a romantic interest in Nala (If Simba were faced with the prospect of loosing Nala to another lion, I believe it would have made him realize his (thus far repressed/denied) feelings for her and he would have fought (not necessarily physically, but definitely emotionally) to win her heart. I think Simba would still be a great king, it just might have been longer that is was for him to gain a queen at his side.
