Did you think it was a little offensive when Timon and Pumbaa were in the gorge the day Mufasa died?
I think it was because, where ever Timon and Pumbaa go, they end up intentionally or unintentionally mocking someone or something. So, them being there, I feel that they mocked Mufasa's death.
What do you guys think?

I think that it was very certainly not their intention to mock Mufasa =3 so I don't think it was offensive for that reason.

I know it wasn't intentional but I still feel it mocked the tragedy of the Stampede.

The way I feel, everything about The Lion King 1½ feels a little offensive. It mocks the whole concept of TLK. Sorry, I just really dislike this movie.

Me too. The only characters I ever liked are all the felines and hyenas. I just downright despise Timon and Pumbaa.

It added humor. I don't think it was mocking anything, just saying what had happened to them. They're funny at heart, seems to me like they cant control the humor side of them. So no, I don't think it was offensive.

Well I thought it was offensive. Mufasa's death and the Stampede were a terrible tragedy and Timon and Pumbaa practically just stomped all over it.

I don't despise Timon and Pumbaa but I think TLK 1 1/2 wasn't much more than a way to wring some more money out of the TLK franchise. That time, it just came from the people who like to guffaw at every opportunity in a movie.

Well they didn't even know about Mufasa or Simba they were just being themselves. Funny as always.

I don't like Timon and Pumbaa but I do agree with you. TLK3 should have been about something else in my opinion.
As for Arani, yes Timon and Pumbaa didn't know Simba and Mufasa. This was one of their unintentional mockings.
