Why are they always hanging together / apparently some sort of friends? To me it seems they have not much in common. Ed is quite brainless, though apparently does understand words and situations to some extent... but never says a word... (He's by the way a great character in that sense, pretty scary actually... knowing he's not as stupid as he seems but not knowing what is going around his head)... Banzai is something between Ed and Shenzi, and Shenzi is cool. =D What do you think they find so interesting in each others, or are they perhaps siblings? Of course it may be that they just wanted a colourful trio of characters without any deeper idea as to why they stick together, but... Just thinking.

That's one good question...I'd say it's because they are siblings but honestly,I have no idea.

They're a weird bunch, and I thought they were all males but apparently one of them is a female?

They're like the 3 fairies from "Sleeping Beauty". Think about it. Why would they be friends?
But if they had similar personalities they would become boring.

Perhaps they befriended because they all meant something to what's-her-name? And they raised her together, so...

hyenas are guided by a female, it is therefore logical that Shenzi is a girl

Ed always made me fear, he air silly at first glance, but at the same time intelligent enough to understand the situation in which he lives...It fascinates me!

Now where did that come from? There could be many answers to this question. And thinking has never hurt me.

I would think they are siblings, that's what I always thought they were. But then again, they could just be stuck together for some other reason, lord knows. Maybe the rest of the hyenas never accepted them because they were friends with Scar, but when Scar was going to take over the Pridelands the rest of the hyenas saw it as their chance to move up or something.
