Finding song segments through-out TLK musical score

I've been having some fun going through the movie and listening closely to Hans Zimmer's score through-out the various scenes. I really like how he takes some of the scores from "The Lion King Soundtrack" and incorporates them (with some changes) into other parts of the movie.

One that I'm quite fond of is when Simba and Nala head to the waterhold with Zazu. When Zazu flies down to tell them of the perceived blossoming romance, a few lines of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" can be heard in the background on what I assume to be a flute.
I never noticed that before until I heard the extended score!

My other favorite is when Nala and Simba find each other again. You briefly hear a different version of "Busa" which is my favorite!

Am I just kinda slow in hearing these just now? :P

Anyone else have a favorite "hidden" song?

Yup! A similar topic was posted about SP. I think it's a nice treat for a careful listener. I haven't watched them in so long I can't remember which is my favorite. :3

Tee hee =D This is one of the most awesome things that I found in recent watchthroughs of the movie ^^ Recent meaning after I rediscovered it <3

Great that you noticed it too =D It's really a neat thing that they put in.

It's pretty amazing how little things like that can really make such a big difference..discovering that gave that scene a whole new meaning :) For me anyway. Hehe.

Interesting I hardly ever notice these things, like softer / quieter music in some scenes. Like my friend told me that some films have music playing nearly the whole way through, you just sometimes do not notice it and I was like "Orly?". I will now be inclined to watch it again and try to find some :D

We can hear CYFTLT again, after Simba's "I've missed you too."

Me too. Gotta love the foreshadowing, dun dun DUN!

If you are watching the movie for the first time, you wouldn't catch the meaning of the song as CYFTLT comes far later.
Great stuff!

I believe Beauty and the Beast and Bambi are such examples. <3
