Although Zazu was animated beautifully, has anyone ever SEEN a picture of a hornbill? He looks nothing like them. I believe Zazu was modeled after this specie of hornbill...

I see why they changed it up a little bit, make it more 'cubby friendly.'

Yeah lol. I mean...could you imagine THAT thing singing and trying to teaching Simba a lesson?

Ya know, the creepy version would make a great cubbysitter because I, personally, would be afraid of that thing pointing it's beak in my direction for any reason whatsoever....

Also, if there was some great catastrophie, everyone would listen to a creepy, old, mangey, freaky bird talking about an omen of death and would ignore a happy go-lucky birdy talking about the same thing.

If you want to be sick for school the next day, look at it for an hour or two without blinking. That will either make you sick to your stomach or phsychotic and in a mental home a few years later....

LOL I'll try that. Now I can see why Disney messed around with Zazu's looks. They didn't want to scare the children.
