Songs that remind you of TLK

ok so i was just listening to some songs and i started being able to relate them to TLK in a couple different ways. the point of this thread is to list 3 songs that remind you of TLK or a scene from TLK and then explain why, here are mine not exactly in any order but...

1. Don't let her pull you down- by New Found Glory.
The lyrics that remind of a scene:

You made him feel so welcome
Make him forget about
The poison running through his veins

It's time I get a few things straight with you
You haven't been in for the whole time
Your stories, like your lifestyle, distorted, yeah

----
These lyrics remind me of when Timon and Pumbaa first meet Nala, i feel like it could be Timon singing these, he tries to tell Nala she's crazy and she doesn't know what she's talking about. He also tries to tell her that she's wrong. idk maybe it's just me but i feel like those lyrics fit that scene pretty well.

2. Apathetic way to be- by Relient K
The lyrics:
Yeah, I'm not angry,
And no, I'm not upset
It's taken me awhile
But this is what I've learned
Emotional attachment is really not a threat
When I'm simply not concerned

You all laugh at me
Like I'm not happy
With anything, any time, anywhere
And the half of me's all about apathy
And the other half just doesn't care

Yeah, bein' apathetic's a pathetic way to be
---
This reminds me of the scene when Nala and Simba are alone in the jungle and are fighting about whether Simba will return or not. Nala tries to get Simba to explain why he left and he pretty much tells her that he has no worries any more and Nala thinks that's pretty "pathetic".

3. I Miss You - by Blink 182
Where are you and I'm so sorry
I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight
I need somebody and always
This sick strange darkness comes creeping on so haunting everytime
And as I stared I counted the webs from all the spiders
catching things and eating their insides
Like indecision to call you
And hear your voice of reason
Will you come home and stop this pain tonight
stop this pain tonight

Don't waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head
---
I think these lyrics could be applied to a couple of scenes in the movie but most of them have to do with they way Simba remembers Mufasa. it could also be applied to the way Nala feels when she finds out that Simba is dead from scar.

Well i listed my three and explained why, let's see what you guys have for song lyrics (but please explain why i don't want to just see people spamming song lyrics...)

Interesting topic. It`s not the lyrics in this case that reminds me of TLK, it`s the feeling the music gives me. What makes me really love TLK, is the romance between Simba and Nala. So when I listen to great music and at the same time think of this couple, it gives me a wonderful feeling. The better the song is, the better the feeling.

It can`t be just any kind of song, though. Songs by AC/DC wouldn`t be suitable. For now, "Golden brown" is the most beautiful song I`ve ever heard, so this is perfect for thinking about this awesome couple. Also "Love is blue" by Paul Mauriat, perhaps the most beautiful instrumental there is.

Lots of songs remind of me TLK :) especially ones that I've made with AMVs. It just sticks into your mind xP
For example, the song 'Numb' by Linkin Park reminds me of Kovu so much. It goes well with how he doesn't want to be like Scar and etc.
Another one? Hmm, lets see... songs from other Disney movies remind of it as well, like the song "Everybody wants to be a cat" from Aristocats reminds of the "Hakuna Matata" scene ^^

I just picked up Blind Guardian's new Album "At The Edge Of Time" and this song struck me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRjZP-MRnNE

Track 7 - Control The Divine

For what I was
I'm doomed to be
The tempter and the secret foe
Cause I am hell and hell is me
Pure hate will grow

Still I claim to be the chosen one and
Still I claim
This is rebellion rising

First amongst equals
We're bound to no law
There's no one before us
Ethereal sons
Now disobey
Awake and arise
You'll be free

How can we take it away
From someone who has no right?
No right to control the divine
Night shall invade
Suspicion awakes
Wherefore He's greater than I

Stay silent
Until the end of the world
So just like slaves we may deem him
Dead silence
Until the end of the world
Hence from this moment we're doomed
I feel
It hurts though
Disburdened spirits we will be
I've learned my lesson
Pure and sore
An offer divine

We're far beneath them
They consider us slaves
They steal our pride
Don't trust them blindly
Cause truth they conceal
As it seems
I'll reign
Cause here in my tower
Impassioned, I'll show you a way

I can feel your hallowed rage
Now enter my realm
Awake and arise, you'll be free

How can we take it away
From someone who has no right?
No right to control the divine
Night shall invade
Suspicion awakes
Wherefore He's greater than I

Descend - just keep moving
All things shall proceed
It's freedom you're choosing
Preserve our hate
Eternalize
Awake and arise
You'll be free

How can we take it away
From someone who has no right?
No right to control the divine
Night shall invade
Suspicion awakes
Wherefore He's greater than I

How can we take it away
From someone who has no right?
No right to control the divine
Night shall invade
Suspicion awakes
Wherefore He's greater than I

Time of dying-Three days grace reminds me of the part where Simba returns back to the pride lands
