You know in the song "My Lullaby" from SP?

Could someone explain the meaning of Vitanis line: "Testify!" ??
I`ve never really understood it.

Me neither lol. It just sounds good with the rest of the song. Especially since it rhymes with "Kovu, what a guy!" I dunno.

According to dictionary.com, to testify means to provide evidence for. So maybe there will be evidence that Zira will enjoy her vengeance... wat?

Nuka: The joy of vengeance
Vitani: Testify!
Zira: I can hear the cheering.
Nuka and Vitani: Kovu, what a guy!

The lyrics says : "The joy of vengeance. Testify!"
In the Latin American version it says "La cruel venganza (The cruel revenge). Al fin vendra! (It will come!)" so, and I used the translator of google with the word "Testify" (I traslate it to Spanish, and then the Spanish word to English) and some of the words that the translator give me were:

proclaim
pronounce
announce

In other words, Vitani is proclaiming that the revenge is coming.

In the Norwegian version, Nuka says "We will cheer/rejoice," and then Vitani continues the sentence: "All day long!" The Latin American version is much more interesting, lol.

It kind of makes sense... it just means that, like Erika said, Vitani is proclaiming revenge to be coming. It's a poorly chosen lyric, I would say.

Mmmhmm, agreed. It sounds nice with the other lyrics, but it's rather poorly chosen in other senses. More than likely, it's just conformation.

Or maybe they just got lazy and couldn't find anything else to rhyme

I don't know, it seems like she was pretty clear. She may have been caught up in the moment, but it seems she was being encouraging to her brother and his previous statement, it was actually kind of kind.
