Well, I've finally achieved my goal. I found a Disney Store Kovu plush for a decent price, and I was able to get him, yay! I've been wanting him for over 5-6 years now!
Anyways, I believe it's one from the original 1998 release. Does anyone know if another version of him was made later on by Disney? I'm not talking about other brands like Hasbro or Just Play.

Is he sitting or laying? There's those versions and then there's a giant one that's less fluffy (like it just doesn't look like a furball lol)

Giant seems pretty rare. I've only seen the Kiara one available for sale. But I mention all three of these because they seem all similar and maybe sold by the same company. I'm not a collector that tends to care about the brand xD

Lol trust me, if i said that, I'd be all over it too. With our luck, it'd be an auction....I hate auctions. There was a super cool vintage and rare simba plush recently and it bid pretty high. I need to start saving money so...idk if the sarabi shows, I probably couldn't even consider getting her anyway
