Subscribing for posts from a specific member in a topic?

So I wanted to subscribe to a thread in which a few different people are posting. What I really care to know about in that thread are posts made by one specific member. The trouble is, if one of the other members posts, I'll get a notification about their post and no more until I like visit or reply or something. Is there any way to subscribe for posts in a thread from one specific member? If not, is it possible we could get one?

I think the reason why there isn't something like that already implimented here on the forum is because it would be a little too intrusive in a way, especially if the member in question whose posts are being followed, wouldn't have a say in the matter. Yes, everything posted on this forum is pretty much viewable to the public regardless but that just seems a little too personal. :) If you're really that curious to see what someone has been posting, you could always just look at their profile and check their recent posts. Given, this won't give you a notification every time they make a post, but yeah, it's as good as you're going to get I think. ^^

I don't think that what you're asking is a feature on any forum I've ever been to or heard of o.() It's just not something I've ever encountered. If you <really> want to stalk someone your best bet is to go to their page and "view posts by this member" though that gets kinda creepy =3

I meant subscribing to that member's posts only in one specific thread lol

Yeah, I didn't say it was perfect =3 But it's your best bet.

I could see how that would be useful in RPs...
