I would like to suggest for an option to have Private Messages that are sent into somebody's inbox reported if somebody is offended by it.
People are encouraged to report infractions (whatever they feel offended by) to a moderator/administrator. Yet this option doesn't appear in the Private Messages inbox section... This can result in nasty things being said to one another, and no doubt about it, some people will abuse that fact, simply because there seemingly isn't a way to control messages sent to one another like in the forum itself.

What I wish for is to have people think twice before they say something to one another... Not just in the normal forum sections, but also via Private Messaging.. It may have been brought to your attention already somewhere way back, but I am a little bit too lazy to search the entire history pages of this forum for it...

That's a lovely idea but... unless I'm misunderstanding you, I think we already have that option. I know I do, at least.

yep, it's already there. the report button is right beside of delete and about the quote button

I'm really sorry.. I must have overlooked it. But I can assure you, that I was looking for a report-button though...

Actually this feature was added just a few months ago, so if he was going off of what he saw around the time he joined, he wouldn't have seen this. It's a handy new feature that was added with phpBB 3.0.6

Also, admins have the ability to look through PMs in case anything nasty goes on in there

I'm glad to hear that. However, I don't like that wink. Seems a bit too hostile to me. IE: Portraying me as being dumb for example. An old saying here: You don't have to be rude, to be nasty. That's all I got to say.

Hmm, well, it was only meant out of jest and was just trying to clear some of this odd tension that seems to have formed between us two ever since I won that stupid Fan Fic award but I guess that was a fail on my part. I apologize though and won't make an effort next time. lol.
