Too confusing for me..

Moderators are depicted as so on the bottom of the MLK forum by type. (Global etc.)
But I know this is the Board Help topic, and even if I may politely suggest it, I infact do need help with this to let it succeed to be a better place for all whom might share this view. (litterally like me being disoriënted by constantly scrolling up/down to see who's who, and what their current status (mod/no mod etc.) is.

Often when browsing through a topic it occured to me that there is no clear reference given to who is or isn't an appointed moderator, apart from a small notification on who's online. But what about some avatar-addition that explicitly tells people that they're dealing with an appointed moderator? And if there is a list to who's currently a mod and who's not, I would like to ask for a link to it, as I don't know where to look for it.. Board Help right? Nah serious.. I simply do ask to be informed on the matter, that's all.

Thanks for all the possible help, from whoever it came.

The colors might be a little misleading, haha.

As moderators, to make it easier, we could replace our rank (cub, Pridelander, Royal Family, etc.) with (Global Moderator, Admin, Co-Admin, etc.) to make it easier to know who the moderators are. As for a list of moderators, on the index page on the right side of every forum there is a list of moderators for that forum, but we could easily add that same list to the forum while viewing it and the topics inside it.

Does that sound like it might help?

As for a full list, there is a link "staff" at the bottom of the index page that lists all the moderators [or click here.]

Anything helps in my opinion. But my apologies for posting this in the wrong forum-section. I simply overlooked Board-Suggestions topic.. If a mod/admin deems it needed, feel free to move if you wish. But if doing so thanks for keeping the forum clear from my behalf.
All I can do is admit that I made this mistake because I was kind of rushing to find help in the first place. (Haste doesn't help eh?)

I don't think you've posted this in the wrong forum sweetheart :snuggle: it's called "board help"
Good to see your idea is used! :D

I don't have a problem with where it is posted.

I'll add that moderator list in each forum.

Moka, may I point out that the staff ranks actually ARE the same as the normal members? The co-admins have "Royal Family" as their rank, and the GMs have Lion/Lioness, etc...

No, the staff are actually ranked just like members - by post count. Zeke and I are currently Royal Family because we're the only ones with over 5000 posts -> Ranks, List of High-Posting Members. We laid it out this way to make things simpler, actually. But if members would prefer that we use special ranks (like Admin, Co-Admin, Global moderator) then that can be arranged as well :]

That would be cool too :D but the amount-of-posts thing with "cub, lion, royal family" etc is also a sweet thing to keep up! :understanding:
Are members getting a star for every year they are a member? (have been checking the member-list)

Yep, that's what those stars mean :) Its an automatic process. Soon I will have 2 stars for being a member for 2 years. It keeps on adding stars for every year you've been a member.
