Anonymous Feedback Form?

Hi! Welcome to the Feedback forum.
Before reading anything or asking anything; please check out the FAQs. Your question might be in there. However if you want a better understanding after reading the FAQs, like if it didn't explain it good enough, then by all means ask your question.

Please read the following before posting in this forum...

In this forum you will see an Announcement, and several "sticky" topics. The announcement is the Universal Board Rules. If you are new, read this before doing anything else! The sticky topics will stay above and separated from normal user-made topics in the forum. This is because they outline important information about the board. If you see a sticky topic concerning your issue, please reply with your question or concern in the correct topic. Moderators will see your reply within these topics. Before asking your question, be sure to read the topic and its first page especially. It contains information about your issue that is valuable and may even answer your questions. If the topic does not answer your question, ask your question within the topic, not the forum. If no sticky topic concerns your issue, then you are welcome to ask your own questions by creating a new topic within the forum.

Thank you for keeping the Board Help forum organized!

Anonymous Feedback Form?

Postby Simbaholikov » June 21st, 2016, 9:54 pm

Hello, I remember a few years ago there used to be an anonymous feedback form with which people could send feedback anonymously straight to Moka's email inbox but the old link for it appears to be dead (http://www.mylionking.com/feedback/)

Any hopes of bringing something like this back?

Link to the old topic about it: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=9371&p=191806&hilit=feedback#p191806

It was never used and I got spammed all the time.

If a member wants to send the site feedback, they can PM/email me. If a member wants to remain anonymous, they can just say so. If a member doesn't/can't trust me, then they should stop logging in.

Is that fair?

Not sure who said they can't trust you but I'll be sure to tell them that if I ever find them.

And a simple PM/Email could work if you get too much spam from it. I was just suggesting this to avoid bias against certain members which has certainly happened in the past which is why it was brought up in the first place before.

I'm not saying anyone said it. I'm just saying the tool is generally used to anonymize oneself while reporting a moderator. But if that member just sends me a PM and asks to remain anonymous, I'll honor it, and in that way it is the same thing as an anonymous feedback form. If that member can't trust me to keep their identity secret when bringing up an issue to a moderator, then they shouldn't trust the site. If they don't trust the site admin, then they shouldn't trust the site.
