I'm sorry MLK, but I have to agree here with Braveheart. What does private body parts and boobs have to do with anything The Lion King or The Lion Guard? The chat being on the top is really in your face on coming here to log in and on logging in, it's hard to not see it before scrolling down…
Please take your Private chat elsewhere, to Off-Topic or PMs. Thank you.

Shouldn't this rule fall onto the chatbox as well?
According to this...

Rules of My Lion King
The following rules apply to the site and the forum and everything within the mylionking.com domain.[/quote]
Underlined and italicized for you.

It's simple. If you don't like the chat box, don't read it, just scroll down. It's literally that simple.

Uh? Anything PG-13 is appropriate for a chatroom because it's not a board you can make threads in... It's supposed to be used in order to socialise with the community. You don't expect everyone to be obligated to talk only about TLK, do you? I'm quite sure a lot of us would have left if that were the case...
I don't know what this whole 'body parts' thing comes from but you can always PM a moderator and they can deal with it, I don't think it's fair for an entire forum feature to be removed because of a few troublemakers.
In all fairness I agree with that there should be a button, yes. But getting rid of the chatroom entirely when so many people like it? People were not really impressed when it was removed today.

The chat-box isn't an inappropriate area to chat...It's kinda in the name...

I'm not particularly saying to remove it, but moving it to the bottom instead of the top might help some on the main page until there is a button

I understand why you'd do that, however, the entire reason that it was moved there was because it was being ignored for months at a time because no one even knew where it was.

But it is relevant, the chatbox is for chatting so any chats whether TLK related or not are relevant to be had there. As is my understanding of it.

I'm really trying to stay out of this, but a lot of what goes on in the chat would be considered "spam" anywhere else on the board. I'd rather have it in there than all over the other threads. Leave it alone.

As the others have pointed out, the chat box is for anything, whether TLK related or not. Anything inappropriate has been reported and dealt with. The staff would appreciate it if people would stop adding fuel to this already way out-of-proportion fire.
Locking topic.

I use Safari browser, so if there is a hide button it's not showing to me. And isn't that what's off-topic generally for anyways? Still I'd prefer to not read private issues openly public on coming to the main page.
