It might just be me but people are getting ridiculously high post counts, like over 10.000 but like 9000 of those posts are in the members q&a. Not really a section that should be added to the postcount imo.

just a thought though.

in the whole Member HQ, i'd say, I mean, they'd be getting points by onyl chatting on threads xD

Just because a few members abuse the system doesn't mean that everyone should suffer the consequences. And post count doesn't really matter anymore, as people no longer have the Avatar tag that was related to post count (Pride Lander/Royal Family/Legendary Lion...). Now post count is just that: post count. It has no real significance anymore.

Mind you, my opinion about post count in the member Q&A flip-flops all the time depending on my mood.

Why care about the post count anyway? That is just a number and doesn't matter, if there was still the raking system like back in the past, THEN this option would be good. But since people were obsessed with getting the Legendary rank here, the raking system was taken off and nobody cared about the post count... ._. ...

Just sayin'.

My exact reason why it really doesn't matter anymore.

I agree with DGFone. Before, we did have some parts of the forum where the post count incrementation was disabled, but after we removed the ranks we decided it's really not that big of a deal.

It was not even a deal when the ranks WERE there let alone now they are disabled.

Honestly I think people aren't even paying attention to that count anymore. At least I don't.

And I do spam threads but more often than not its my attempt at humour, has nothing to do with post count...
