^ 1.2 MB/s is about average. It's on the low end of "high speed" internet. One thing I have noticed, is that if I don't get a 504, it generally takes 5-15 seconds to load the page. If I try logging in at 5AM, the pages load in less than 2 seconds for me.

I experience the same thing, where MLK around this time borders the unusable stage. I really think that it is on the MLK server's end for these reasons:
1. It only happens during peak hours when the most people request data from the servers
2. It started after the server host swap
3. Other, heavier websites still run fine even when MLK will spill out several 504s.

Probably the worst thing about this is that Moka is one of the few members not getting the errors. Might have been fixed if he got them as well.
Oh well, at least he knows about them. All it means is that he will have to rely on our input instead of being to test it out on his own machine.
Edit: Tried viewing a profile in a low-point for MLK, but still got a 504 several times.

FWIW - I am not experiencing any problems, but the profile / UCP still seems to be a little slower than the rest of the site.
