Well, these are just a few ideas I had.

First, in the new character registration, would we be able to type in the species instead of having to choose from the list? I realize the list is there to prevent off-topic animals, but right now it doesn't even have Zazu's species. Also, my primary character is an oxpecker bird and, though they're uncommon for TLK artists, I'd still like to be able to register him as something other than "other" .

Second, maybe you could do something similar to changing the gallery settings and allow people to choose their personal browsing font/background color other than the tan default? Naturally, artists will still be able to control what their pages look like, but while browsing the forums or the main page of MLKFAA, the user could choose their own colors? Just a thought.

Last, could there be some option to center signatures? If there already is one and I just don't know the code, I'd like to know how to do it.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions! I did think about allowing people to type in their species, but originally I had wanted to be able to group animals and show them "by species", which might not work if people type it in. But, I think it's more important to allow all species, so I will probably change it to a textfield instead of a list.

It might be a good idea. Basically, if the user is an artist, color all pages in MLKFAA the same way as their album? Or allow different colors?

yeah, I like that idea. I have a good deal of hybrids like lion/cheetah that aren't considered one particular species. and then some artists have their own species, which although aren't generally in the TLK universe, can be mixes of African animals. but there are hundreds of African species so you might very well add a type in box.

I was adding characters in the order I originally made them and already had to stop because my character Kenrana is a tigon (tiger/lion).

You could probably still be able to do the search by species, just have the search bar be a text field as well. The artist would have to spell the creature's name properly (duh) but you could still make it work if you wanted .

I'd allow different colors, and the artist can decide whether or not they want it to be the same as their album or not.
