Okay so I do not think we already have this... But if we do then ignore and close this thread, as there is nothing to see here.

The Idea

The basic idea is that someone trustworthy, maybe a Moderator or Moka himself would set up an official My Lion King youtube channel. Then members could upload and host their AMVS, or indeed any other related video on the channel. There would be a thread for submissions, where people could post download links to the video, then the person in charge of the channel could check the video, and upload it to the official MLK channel. It would not necessarily have to be TLK related videos, maybe just at least Disney related.

Why?

Because AMVS are (semi) popular, and we have some extremely talented AMV makers here. So with the people watching the video, on the official MLK channel and which links them to this site, it would generate (I presume) more members for here. I mean even if at first, people just uploaded videos they already have made to the channel. Then the video title would be (AMV)(SONG NAME HERE / FILM NAME HERE) (BY: MEMBER NAME HERE). And if people liked it, they would prolly click on the main channel, and find out about this site.

Furthermore, those members who are trying to get into AMV / video making could upload their videos to it, automatically giving them a way to make a name for themselves on a channel that is already popular rather than starting from scratch on their own and advertising it...

This seems like a splendid idea in my opinion and I honestly hope the staff should agree so. In the case that the staff do not have the time to perform and update everything, I would be very obliged to help out if you need it.

This is a splendid idea! I really like what you thought of. I'm all in for it,it would be a great way to have a better overlook of all the AMVs we're getting here. And yes,this could result in having more people interested in the site.

That's an amazing idea! I've being making a few AMV's and I'd love to have them on the channel. I hope the idea catches on with the mods

Truth be told I did kind of steal the idea from another site, I posted something I made there, and was contacted by the administrator about uploading to that sites's YouTube channel, where it would get a lot more views and generate interest for the site as well, so I thought "Hmmm why does MLK NOT have that?"
