I looked through the FAQ and stickies, but didn't see anything on this particular issue. Mods, feel free to move it if I posted it in the wrong place.


Anyway, I am currently casting an RP in the TLK RP board area. I got a cast member, but when I went to tell them they were in, my first post was quoted as well. It was pointed out to me and I have corrected it, but I'm just wondering what happened.

Can you elaborate on the problem? I'm not seeing any issues with your posts.

Is this a PM issue?

I edited my one post where it happened already and fixed it, but the issue was this, more or less:

It's a board thing. I went to respond to a member who had taken a role in my RP. When I responded to him, the post had quoted my initial post. Another member pointed this out to me and I have edited it.

What theme are you using?

Does this happen every time you click 'edit'?

I was using the holiday theme, and for a bit did happen each time I clicked edit. Now, however, it's stopped.

I gotta say it: Are you sure you weren't just clicking the 'quote' button? The quote button is close to the edit button and they look the same.

Ah, it's possible. Thanks. I didn't think about that before.

Yeah, because they have similar functionality. In the standard default theme, MLK Kisasa, I separate the 'edit' and 'quote' buttons out a bit for that very reason ^^
