User Control Panel -> Profile -> Edit Account Settings

Of course then the mod in question would know your password, which rather defeats the purpose =3 Asking a mod is more often used for if you forget your password, rather than changing it.

i know that but it is an option its not like the mod would abuse the log in, can abuse without it :P

The best way for a member to manage their password would be through the tools that the forum offers like the UCP and forgotten password retrieval. Asking a mod to change your password is a difficult process because we have to be certain about your identity (if you contact us outside of the forum), and if we made a mistake we would essentially give someone else access to your account and lock you out of it. Therefore, asking a mod to change your password is sort of a last resort kind of thing :]
