Changing the Ask the Character topics

Hi! Welcome to the Feedback forum.
Before reading anything or asking anything; please check out the FAQs. Your question might be in there. However if you want a better understanding after reading the FAQs, like if it didn't explain it good enough, then by all means ask your question.

Please read the following before posting in this forum...

In this forum you will see an Announcement, and several "sticky" topics. The announcement is the Universal Board Rules. If you are new, read this before doing anything else! The sticky topics will stay above and separated from normal user-made topics in the forum. This is because they outline important information about the board. If you see a sticky topic concerning your issue, please reply with your question or concern in the correct topic. Moderators will see your reply within these topics. Before asking your question, be sure to read the topic and its first page especially. It contains information about your issue that is valuable and may even answer your questions. If the topic does not answer your question, ask your question within the topic, not the forum. If no sticky topic concerns your issue, then you are welcome to ask your own questions by creating a new topic within the forum.

Thank you for keeping the Board Help forum organized!

Changing the Ask the Character topics

Postby Moka » July 18th, 2010, 9:41 pm

Hello!
We would like to present a poll to every member. This poll is for how we implement the ask the character topics in the Lion King Arcade.

The new implementation will be:
1.) We close every current Ask the Character topic
2.) We allow people to create new Ask the Character topics as long as they follow this new rule:
The topic creator asks a question.
The next poster goes in-character to answer that question and then out-of-character to ask the next question.
...and so on
3.) If the last poster forgot to ask a question, the next poster may ask a question to keep the topic moving along.

This new way will insure that every gets a chance to ask and answer questions in the Ask the Character topics. The Ask the Character topics will belong to no one and will depend on no one in particular.

You have two choices:
I would like to implement this new way (Yes)
The old way is better (No)

I 100% percent agree with the yes option. It would make things more fair, definately. It might even make things more fun. But deleting all the threads... isn't that a bit extreme? I mean... as I suggested before, an archieve wouldn't be bad, especially if you plan to do this. That'd be like over 1,000 posts to delete. =/

So it would be something along the lines of this?...

Person A: [Awnsers the previous question as the character]
[Asks a new question[

Person B: [Awnser's person A, asgain as the character]
[Asks the new question]

Replacing Person A and B with whoever's username happens to want to ask / awnser a question.

Because if so, then yes I do think that would be a good idea, it would mean that they are always updated by at least someone which is nice.
