For all the disappointment I had with the few entries in the contest, I am rather glad at how the voting round came out. I was quite worried that the same lack of participation in the writing stage would be mirrored in the voting stage, but I was proven wrong. With many more votes than stories around, the winner for the 27th writing contest is:

Since there were two extensions, I lost track of the contest. Based off the TLKFotM contest (for which voting ends tomorrow), it will be far easier to simply start the contest next week, as that will be the next nomination round for that contest as well.

I endeavour to enter this time, but since in all likelihood I'll be without internet during the voting and or winner's announcement ( on holiday) I won't know the outcome until I'm home again

Honestly Planes, I felt you did better than me, your story looked much better structured and planed out than mine and I also think your story had a more professional feel to it too.

Well it was really close one at one vote apart so I felt we both won on this.
