Yeah, I got lazy/busy and this topic is one day late. ;) But never the less, the votes are in, and we have a winner for... well, one of the "most depressing stories I've read on here!" Thank you, Amy, for that comment, seeing how it summarized the entries for this contest. But the votes show that our winner is:

Noah!

Congratulations on your story! I will create a banner and post it here on this topic to show that you won it, even though you won't be able to place it in your profile. I will also contact you for your prompt for the next writing contest.

In second place, DGFone's entry got the second highest amount of votes, and with third place being a tie with the other two entries.

Watch out next week for the next contest! I am already hard at work thinking about prompts for it, and we can expect a good one from Noah! :D

I'm not sure how banned members can enter contests, or win, for that matter, but... okay. :ew:

I asked him to write something after the ban outside of MLK and he complied. Even though he is banned, I allowed his entry to get in. So no, he didn't use a duplicate account. It was all done off MLK. And as the contest host, I can accept or decline entries from members, even banned ones.

Well if anyone can write a good depressing story right not, it would be him.
Congrats Noah! ^^ Great job.

That is true. Considering what Noah went through recently, it's no surprising that he was able to translate his experiences to a good story with The Lion King.

And on a similar note, he already expressed interest in continuing to write stories for the contest, and I don't see any reason why to prevent him from doing so. After all, that's what the contest is about: getting people to write good Lion King fanfiction. And banned or not, if you want to write good fanfiction for the contest, that's fine by me! :D
