MLK Writing Contest #3!
Posted: October 3rd, 2011, 5:11 pmWelcome, my fellow lions, lionesses, and writing machines! This is the third annual Writing contest, where the best of the best will show of their finest stuff! This is the stuff of legends, of champions. This...Is...Jeopardy! Err... Writing Contest... err... Lets get to this. WRITERS, START YOUR ENGINES!
The target length of the story is [b]2000 words. This isn't a required length, however. If you can write a knockout story in 500 words, all the power to you. Similarly if you end up a few hundred words over you won't be disqualified. But please try not to go too far over 2000, as voters will be having to read all of these entries.
Please also note that you may NOT use any previously written fan fictions, entries, etc. OC's ARE allowed.
The Deadline for submissions is Thursday, October 13th, 2011. All entries submitted after this date will not be valid. I will be a tad more strict on this than the last host <3. All Submissions must be PM'd to me. NO POSTING THEM HERE. The best way to ensure fairness is through anonymosity.
The winner will receive a victory bar from the lovely Flipmode and the love of all of the MLK members who are jealous.

- The target topics will be as follows:
* Kiara and Kovu have had a fight(verbal) and are going through a hard time. How will they get through it? What is it about?
*Simba and Nala werent always friends as cubs. How did they come to be friends?
*The watering hole has run dry! Oh NOES! Write about the journey that the lion/lioness of your choice must make to find a new source of water for the pride.
