Well, in my personal case, there are a couple reasons for this. Firstly, because it takes less than a minute to type the name of the site in the search bar and take a quick look around to see if there's anything new, even if the odds are slim. And secondly, with this place being the biggest TLK dedicated forum on the internet, I think it's still worth keeping tabs on it, you know, just in case there's a sudden, unexpected influx of user activity some given day or week. The Lion King fandom as a whole is still alive and kicking, so it's not entirely beyond the realms of possibility, I'd imagine.

Nostalgia

I got an email notifacation of a reply to a topic I posted in, and I rememberd something I forgot to post Yesterday.

I may not come Here as much as used to, but I still like this place.

Yes, but "I think" if You don't react to them as They are sent then notifications go dormant.

I came on here to read cringy posts because I was telling my bf about this place lmao

It’s 2AM and this place randomly crossed my mind. I’m so surprised to see it still open.

Moreover, seems like there’s been a recent surge of people from my era remembering this place and checking in. Hope everyone is doing ok in their respective corners! This place was pretty special to me at one point - it would be disingenuous to not recognise that.

I have no clue why, something randomly reminded me of this place and I decided to check in again.
