Some extremely sad news coming out about Chadwick Boseman's passing after a 4 year battle with cancer.

This news hit me almost as much as Robin Williams did.

He was so young and had a promising career ahead of him. He also seemed to be a bright, compassionate soul.

He worked on 5+ movies in 5 years (the 4 marvel movies he was in and two others I think?) Not to mention the Marvel press tours... and he voiced T’challa as Star Lord in the upcoming Marvel What If Disney+ series.

Very heartbreaking. Such an incredible talent gone way before his time. Aside from "Black Panther" and the Marvel movies, he has always been a gifted actor. "21 Bridges", "Marshall" and more really showed his artistry. So inspirational.

The news hit me hard because I did not know he was even sick. There were some gossip months before about his health when he appeared very gaunt when he made an Instagram post, but this flew under the radar for me.

To use his words, he was "young, gifted, and black" and the world is a darker place without him. I admire his courage to have filmed all those movies and go on those press tours while fighting a private bout with colon cancer. He handled it all with class and dignity. Rest in peace, Chadwick.
