Yes I have just read it. So no Kiara. I do like the direction it's going in and that many of the characters from the OG movie will be there.

Mulan is to go on demand October 6th, making it non Disney+ exclusive. That’s kinda... off, since they had people buying it thinking it was only going to be on Disney+....

guess they weren’t happy with the Disney+ money only. Made 60.9M so far box office.

Haven't checked the box office but wow at the numbers. You may be right about them not being satisfied with the film's earnings so far.

so the box office total was low and remember, theaters take a cut of that revenue.

now for disney+ disney got to keep a whole lot more of whatever it made. they never made a statement and black widow + other big theatrical movies are still on track for theaters assuming that theaters are still a major thing.... so disney couldn't have been happy with how much Mulan made.

(apple keeps 30% of revenue made off all apps so I assume any Disney+ sub or purchase there will get Apple a cut.

The movie tanked. Even bigger than Cats given the budget? I hear nearly 300 million in production costs and that doesn't include stuff like marketing.
