George Carlin, Robin Williams, Bill Hicks, Bill Cosby, Jon Stewart, Rodney Dangerfield, Phil Hartman, David Letterman (pre-2000), and even Jay Leno had his moments

I have to listen to more of Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce's stand-up, but they are both seen as two of the all-time greats.
