It's here! December 12 2012, 12/12/12. Figured this deserved a topic since it's never going to happen again in our lifetime.
So.......let the celebrations begin I guess. Anyone getting married today lol?

Yup, definitely not going to happen in anyone else's but my lifetime. (I has time machine)
These dates aren't going to happen again for 100 years, because next year can't be 13/13/13, so enjoy today while you can people who don't have time machines.

I always love when the month, day, and last two numbers of the year are the same. Although we won't see anymore these types of dates until the next century, we still have 11/12/13 coming up.

And that'll be the last one of that too.

My theory is that the mayan calender maker got bored of making calenders, or died, whichever one came first.

In 50 Years: "I was there when 12/12/12, 12:12 AM/PM 12 seconds 12 milliseconds happened! I saw it with my own two eyes!"
Grandchildren: "Whoa..."
xDD But seriously, it's a pretty cool day.

It's just an arbitrary date...
Like temperature, the real calendar should start around the creation of the Earth, if not the big bang itself. Not at the birth of one random bloke...
