Welcome to the 21st century, America! Ya' pay for firefighters, ya' pay for police, and ya' pay for health insurance. Definitely a few parts that I'm not too keen on, but I think that the most important thing is that we're on a road to universal coverage.

Lol, you guys, chill!

The courts only ruled healthcare as constitutional under one condition: that it be implemented as a tax. So before you all start celebrating free healthcare, wait for it to be passed as a tax first, because before that, the ruling is quite meaningless.

*quite meaningful, because it wasn't struck down, and because it basically means that the supreme court believes we should have a universal healthcare mandate.

Also, look at Justice Roberts, proving he's not a robot! Hows about that?

And my state is already looking for ways to tear it apart.

I heard something about it on the radio earlier, like it's a bad thing that everyone has healthcare.

Good job, America. I can't believe I'm actually saying that for once.

I'm not sure how the mandate is going to be implemented as a tax, but at least I'm glad the government isn't allowed to force people to buy into health care services.

It looks like Obama and the Democrats/liberals have won this round...unless Romney repeals it if he becomes President, which he has vowed to do. Although, his health care plan in Massachusetts when he was a governor was the model for President Obama's so I see some hypocrisy in his statement.

May I ask how universal health care is going in the Netherlands? I just want to know what the U.S. is in for.
