OMG, I can't believe there wasn't a topic for this movie!

I've seen it, a few times in fact, I have it on Blu-ray

Lovely movie! My favourite character is Flynn Rider / Eugene Fitzherbert xD He's hilarious. I also like Pascal the chameleon :3
Favourite part and song would have to be I See the Light. I'm a hopeless romantic, and that whole scene is just beautiful in every aspect. I also love when Rapunzel is reunited with her parents, it always makes me cry.

Has anyone else seen Tangled? - yes, I have
What did you think of it? - i really liked it. I actually own it.

What were your favourite parts/songs/characters? - my favorite part was the whole scene when she was at the castle with Flynn for her birthday. My favorite son, like AdAstra, was "I See the Light", and my favorite character was Rapunzel (of course) and Pascal (he's so funny and cute! ^_^)

Has anyone else seen Tangled? I, for one, have seen Tangled at least three times. I even own the movie on Blu-Ray.
What did you think of it? From a scale of 1 to 10, I would award the film an 8. The storyline is a bit predictable, even though the story team gave it their best shot to adapt the original fairytale. Rapunzel didn't impress me much as a Disney Princess as Tiana from The Princess and the Frog did. However, she had a likeable personality, beautiful singing voice, and wondering about the future of her life, which I can relate to. Flynn Rider was funny, and for a guy, handsome and rouge. Pascal the chameleon and Maximus the horse were very good comedic relief sidekicks. I very much liked Alan Menken's music, though I don't think most of the songs were memorable, but either way, "I See the Light" is the BEST song in the movie, and the most romantic sequence I've seen in any recent Disney film for a while. The animation in this movie is by far the best CGI animation I've seen from Disney thus far; it was beautiful and had captivicating landscapes. Aside from the storyline, I felt the only weak part in the movie is how the ending was executed. It just felt a little rushed to me. Overall, it is a very good Disney film.
What were your favourite parts/songs/characters? The sky lattern sequence is my favorite part in the movie, and "I See the Light" is my favorite song in the movie.

I love Tangled, I went to see it with a younger kid who was 6 and I loved it more than she did!

It's amazing, it brings me back to the old Disney princess times. ^^

I also enjoyed it, and own it! My favorite character would have to be Rapunzel as well, although Flynn/Eugene is second, as predictable as that is

Favorite song is When Will My Life Begin, both the actual song and reprise when she first exits the tower, but between the two first full version

Like many of us here, I did enjoy watching it and as of to this current date, it's ranked as #10 for my top ten favorite Disney movies. I enjoyed the characters, the animation was wonderful, the story was entertaining, and the emotions were kept in balance. In my opinion, Rapunzel is one of the most beautiful Disney princesses I have seen so far, but I do like her traits too. ^^ My favorite song is "I See The Light" because it is just beautiful.

I do have one question: At the beginning of the movie, we see that Mother Gothel kidnaps baby Rapunzel during the night and her parents do notice the thief. If they knew that their daughter was kidnapped, then why didn't they try to find her on their own through the movie or at least have them send a guard or whatever search for her? I probably guess that it would have been too much of unnecessary parts to the film, but I'm curious about this.

Um, the movie did mention Rapunzel's parents tried to find her. After Gothel kidnaps Rapunzel, Flynn Rider narrates by saying, "The king searched and searched, but they could not find the princess for deep within the forest, Gothel raised the child as her own." Or something like that.
