I think Mike Mozart's got a damn good plan here, and I think it's worth participating in, much unlike the plans The Anonymous ask us to do with the low-orbit ion cannons and that stuff.

His plan is simple: boycott the companies who are members of the MPAA which are:

  • Walt Disney Motion Pictures Groupo
  • Sony Pictures Entertainment
  • Paramount Pictures
  • 20th Century Fox
  • Universal Studios
  • Warner Brothers

The second part of his plan, which is also 100% legal, is to rate movies (ones you've seen, of course) on rating and retail sites like Flixter, Amazon, Walmart, etc.

I'll be doing this, and while it hurts me to say it, it means I won't be purchasing that glorious Lion King blu-ray jumbo pack or whatever it was, considering Disney is selling it.

Are you really asking people on a Lion King forum to boycott Disney? :ew:

Yep, and all the reasons why are pretty clearly exemplified in the video.

I'm doing it, and I've been on this forum for over two years, and I was pretty excited to finally be about to own a copy of the movies.

The guy in the video reminds me of Al McWhiggin from toy story 2. Image

This guy is a genius, and I'm in. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

It's worth a try, although I'm not sure how much it will work.
