David Clement-Davies?

I was curious if anyone else had read books by David Clement-Davies here? :think:

Anyways, I'm quite the fan of his. I'm currently reading Fire Bringer (and I'm almost finished!) and I've previously read The Sight and Fell. I love those two especially, and I'm quite fond of Fire Bringer, though I do find it a bit odd. (And just between me and you, he should hire a new editor concerning this book :holycrap:).

All in all, I'm very fond of him and his works. So, basically, has anyone read any of his novels? Did you like them or not? And so on.

I'm about a quarter-way through Fire Bringer. My friend lent it to me, and when she's done with The Sight, it's my turn.

Do you like Fire Bringer so far?

Ah! The Sight is absolutely WONDERFUL. Or to me, at least. It's so good, and I think rather relatable.

Yes, I'm at the part where they get chased by dogs. (So don't say anything after that part)

Just the fact that The Sight is about wolves is what gets me.

I won't. ;) I'm usually a spoiler-free type of person. At least until I've finished the book, haha. I've had spoilers without a forewarning happen to me, and I wouldn't do that to anyone else. ;_;

It's really good. The characters are fantastic, I think, and the lengths that David CD goes to in order to get us into their world is incredible. I love wolves myself, so. :D

I've only read The Sight so far by him. :P It was a nice, thought-provoking read, albeit a bit long. I might read Fire Bringer next if I can find it. :D

I remember reading Dracula, it was really long. I liked it. I do enjoy long novels, though. :think:

Fire Bringer is, like I said, pretty good! You should invest in a copy if you can. ^^ They're all very, as you said, thought-provoking. I feel there's such meaning in them, and I really adore that.

Yeah, it does look pretty interesting. ^^ I'm gonna check my local library or something and see if they have a copy. The Sight took me several nights to read, but I kind of liked it that way XD Gave me more time to enjoy it lol. :P

It took me AGES to finish The Sight the first time, if I'm honest! It just depends for me, I guess. Like how I'm finishing up Fire Bringer so quick.

:P

Well, I finished Fire Bringer about a week ago.

I liked it very much. :D

Very relatable characters, I was very, VERY touched. I cried, haha. :P
