So who here is a fan of older games such as Frogger and games like it? I played the Frogger remake on the PS 2, but it got me liking the old Frogger.

I'm mostly an old gamer. :P As far as old games go, my favorites are probably the sonic series, the Mario series, and the Zelda series, all of which still come out with new games lol. :P

I just got to play the old Sonic games from 20 years ago on the PS 2 (via a compilation disc). They're so much better than a lot of the new Sonic games. The Archie Sonic comic is even remaking them.

Not really, some of them are okay but I prefer modern games. The only classic games that I still think are good, are things like Sonic, which have not quite managed the transition to modern gaming era as they were in the era they were made for.

I mean the reason why the Sonic 3D games suck compared to the older ones, is cause they were made specifically for that era of technology and I think a lot of companies could do with starting some new IPs (especially Nintendo).

Eh before I start ranting too much, I will just stick to what I said, they are okay but I definitely prefer modern gaming to the classics. I only really play them for nostalgia purposes now, and it usually just makes me realise how bad they are now.

What about the 1994 classic: The Lion King for SNES/Game Gear/ MS DOS + a few more consoles?

What about it? I have it for my old Mega Drive, and it is awful.

Absolutely. It may be hard, granted, but it's an excellent game. Graphics (even for today) are awesome, sound is top-notch, and everything lives up to the movie's standards. Maybe it would have been a tad easier, but then us modern guys wouldn't enjoy it. And besides, it's made by Westwood. How much more awesome can you get?
