At least one body was found Saturday as the search resumed for a military plane with 21 people aboard that went missing Friday off Chile's Pacific coast, near the Juan Fernandez islands, CNN Chile reported.
Rear Adm. Cristian de la Maza told CNN Chile that a passenger's body had been found in the sea by the Chilean navy. Her identity has not yet been confirmed.
Gen. Maximiliano Larraechea, secretary general of the air force, told Chile's state-run broadcaster TVN that one of the plane's locator devices had been found. TVN quoted him as saying he was almost certain the plane had crashed because of the number of items recovered.
Defense Minister Andres Allamand was travelling to the area on Saturday morning, Chile's Ministry of Defense said.
The plane tried to land twice before losing contact, Allamand told reporters Friday.
Chile's TVN Executive Director Mauro Valdes said that five of the passengers were employees of the television station, including Felipe Camiroaga, a well-known and popular presenter.
The country's president, Sebastian Pinera, vowed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the "possible accident."
"This is a tough blow to our country, but it is precisely these moments of anguish and uncertainty that require the unity and solidarity of all Chileans," CNN Chile reported the president said.

Thanks CNN.

My Dad was affected severely by this. He says that when he was younger he used to watch the morning show always, and it gave him a warm link back to his country from here in America. He said that Felipe's death had a very strong impact on him, the guy was an idol in Chile. I never really paid mind to it, but now I realize how different things are in Latin America from here in the U.S. Everyone is closer together as a happy community, and everyone supports each other. Here in a neighborhood, everyone lives their own lives, and no one gets into others problems. He said that most of Chile cried that day, and a huge funeral was held for especially those two men, and the rest of the 19. God Bless everyone who was affected, especially my father. I don't care if he's a strict atheist.
