The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.
Today police found the dead body of 27 year old Amy Winehouse, and I think she deserves a thread here for us to pay our respects. She was a gift to the music industry, and for those of you who have not heard her voice before it is nice to hear among the auto tune abuse, and bubblegum electro that usually smothers pop radio, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1evzhSast8 listen to "Back to Black" for example.

And yes, we are all aware that she was on some form of drugs at one point in the past, but as of now the cause of death is unknown and unexplained.

I heard that a few hours ago, it's pretty sad. She had an incredible voice, probably one of the best RnB singer ever. But to be honest, it was only a matter of time because with all her drug consumption.. That wasn't the healthiest life.
Rest in peace Amy.

Cause of death is unknown, and remember she went to rehab for her drug problem.

Yeah I know, I know. But sadly she didn't get the drug problems under control.
But I don't wanna start arguing now or something, I will be remembering her in great respect and admiration.

I'm not a fan of hers and I can't say that I didn't see it coming, but still. Premature death is always a sad thing, no matter under which circumstances it occured. R.I.P Amy. May your soul find peace.

Yeah it was coming, but young talent wasted like that is still so pitiful, I mean I do not have remorse for someone who chooses to kill themselves usually but when it is someone with a talent it is a bit different.

Gosh, the news channels won't stop bugging about the fact that she still doesn't have a clear reason for her death. Also, she sung RnB? I thought she sung Soul music, according to a news channel that titled her as "The Queen of Soul." Oh well, you can't know everything. Although she went to rehab 'cause of her drug problems, it didn't do much. She was really wasted in her last concert, the fact that she couldn't even stand for long. Amy was a great singer, but I think that when her boyfriend entered her life, that's what went bad. Seems to me that he got her influenced into the whole drug and alchohol obsession. R.I.P. Amy, you know we'll miss you. :(
