Lets Play The Lion King - S.M.A (Talk to Flip)

Well after having a brief play on it, I decided that I want to play through it and do a Lets Play of the game.
Was supposed to start this the other day on 17th anniversary day but meh, *Cough*Techincalproblemsmainly*cough*
So, the reason why I am posting this here instead of just straight to my YouTube is because it is a chance for me to talk to you people directly.
Ya see for those that do not know, a Lets Play is pretty much making a video playthrough of a game whilst talking to the people watching pretty much, so since this is a Lion King game, I thought I would share it directly with you fine people.

And so I do not get bored and ramble about stuff (though that will prolly happen anyway) here is what you guys can do... PM me some stuff you want me to talk about in the videos. Now this can be ANYTHING, questions about me, the game, life, MLK or whatever, perhaps you just want me to give a shout out to a friend for ya, or spread the world about a new FanFic you are writing... Basically PM me stuff like that and I will talk about it during the recording of the videos for ya ^^. So it can be like a one - one chat if you will.

Going to leave this up for a few days before I start working on it, so get sending some stuff in! After that I will update it (hopefully daily) until the game is finished... So if you send something that is not covered in the first video, threat not as it will be later on at some point =).

Which TLK game are you talking about? KM looks like he is referring to Simba's New Adventure.
But if you are talking about the original 1994 game:
To add what to talk about:
Some technical aspects such as:

The graphics, and have they aged well or badly
Game-play - is an emulator better versus an original; console
comparison between the MS-DOS, SNES, and Genesis games (the fullest of all the versions)
Why did they leave out Can You Feel The Love Tonight in the MS DOS version?
Sound - would you actually prefer the score to be played, or do you like the music in the game?

Game-play:
Despite having almost 0 plot, knowing TLK, does the game seem to actually have more depth compared to new games that have "plots". (IMHO - CoD, Halo 2-Reach, Battlefield...)
Game/movie mistakes - Pumbaa's beetle in lvl 1, the chameleons, the porcupines...
How not having other characters effected the game (no Nala...)
THAT WATERFALL LEVEL!!! - Why is the game so hard and yet made for younger audiences?

It's not Simba's New Adventure, it's Simba's Mighty Adventure, and it's the game that Flip is going to do, according to the thread title.

Yeah, it is Simba's Mighty Adventure. I did put a picture of it in the OP. What I could do though is adapt what you said to as if it you meant S.M.A instead.

Yeah, sorry. My bad. :(

But if you can adapt it, then go ahead! :)

Nice first part Flip. Thanks for covering some of the stuff I mentioned. Looking forward to part 2. Just FYI though, if your YouTube account doesn't have any copyright strikes against it, there is no length limitations when it comes to the videos you upload.

^ I think that there is a file upload size limit for non-paying members.

Does look good, Flip! Can't wait to see more! Also, I think that it will be better if you have the video in a better quality. It doesn't have to be HD, but as it is, 240p makes it even more blurry and pixelated than it already is.
The PS1 specs have it's native resolutions ranging from 256 × 224 to 640 × 480, so if you can record the videos with a pixel recording/game ratio of 1:1, it would be great. (Unless the game is natively 240 p)

Other than that, keep it up, and we will be able to see the rest! (I know you talked about game-play in part 1, so it would be interesting to hear your opinions on the graphics/audio/game-play compared to today's games)

Yeah as long as I aim to keep them around 10-15 mins it should be fine though ^^. But that is also why I tried to make it 240P, because I knew there was some kind of limit on the size =P. Nontheless, I will try to get the quality up next time. =)
Glad you guys liked it though, was a bit sceptical about making it so that is nice. ^^
