I don't really watch Cartoon Network anymore because of my true feelings towards it now.

Well to be fair, it's also probably because you're getting older and loosing interest in cartoons.
I also grew up watching all those classic shows, however ten years from now, the new generation of teenagers will be posting these topics saying what happened to Chowder and 6teen?!?!

You see if you were younger and didn't know such classics like Johnny Bravo even existed, you'd think Chowder and such crap that's on there now was actually really good, plus I think 14-15 is about the time people should stop watching cartoons anyway at least not unless there is annnnything else on.
It's not just CN who use this to their advantage either, Nickelodeon also play off this card. ICarly is good, but if these kids sat down and watched Kenan and Kel... It'd be a different story.
And I shall back up my point with this...

LOL, Andrew W.K was on CNReal last year, funny stuff, funny stuff. But yeah, I agree. The classics will forever stay just that, and some of these new shows should of stayed on the paper.

I agree completely. No offense, but these new shows are just complete BS. :/ The last good cartoon on CN was Foster's, and imo, the last good cartoon on Nickelodeon was Avatar: The Last Airbender. Anyone remember Toonami? Those were the best years of Cartoon Network history EVAR. The new generation has no idea what they've missed lol. I feel kinda bad for them :P

Toonami was great. Back when they used too air Dragonball Z, and stuff like that. The only good show on their action block is naruto, and that's the heavily censored kids version. As far as I've heard, they show it on Adult Swim now, though.

Cartoon Network was definitely in its prime when my family first got cable in 1999. There was Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, etc as well as Looney Tunes and other older shows. I also miss Toon Heads. I didn't get to see enough of it because it was on Sunday nights when I was at church. For those that don't know, Toon Heads would pick a theme every week and play cartoons to go with it and would give trivia about it. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was one of the last good shows Cartoon Network had on it. I also remember when all the movies that channel showed were animated. There wasn't any live action at all.

Nowadays, the shows are crap. I'm not speaking as a crotchety 26 year old here and btw, it doesn't matter how old a person is, they can still watch cartoons if they want to. I really don't care for the styles in Chowder, Flapjack or Adventure Time. They're an absolute hideous eyesore to look at. It really feels like the makers of these shows aren't trying hard enough to put out quality programming anymore. I was happier with them when they played the Looney Tunes marathon a few months ago and advertised that they'd be showing them regularly again. I think that lasted all of two weeks before they pulled Looney Tunes back off the air which is pathetic. I think every generation of child ought to know who Bugs Bunny is. My little brother has no idea who Yogi Bear is because Boomerang is the only channel that plays the old Hannah Barbara cartoons and that's only on digital cable.

Well I guess this became a rant didn't it?
