Figured that people here seem to be into their music enough to warrant the existence of this topic :P.
So the purpose is to discuss music, share links to new songs you like, to share them with your fellow MLK members and such.

There is but one rule: respect other's opinions please. This means that if a member has expressed an opinion that you do not agree with, if you are going to reply then you should do so respectfuly.

I just wrote in the "what song are you listening to" thread that I`ve found what`s possibly the most beautiful tune there is, "Golden Brown". I have to listen to it every day, it`s so beautiful that I could barely believe it.

Also, I didn't read the whole thing, but I saw Diamonds On the Soles of Her Shoes, and that made me very happy. ^^

Going through a hip-hop phase atm :/, I go on and off the genre quite often. Anyyywhooo...

Kany West - Power (remix) ft Jay Z
A surprisingly good remix of "Power" the first song from Kanye "I'ma let you finish in a miniute" West's new album which I believe is due for release in October (hence the line in the song " Maybe i'll drop the album, nah you gota wait").

Bliss N Eso - Addicted
Probably my favourite song from the album, lyrical genius.

That`s the one. He said himself it was about both women and heroin. The line "lays me down, with my mind she runs" is kind of a giveaway. But I don`t think this is a song that promotes drugs, it depends on how you view it.

A song by The Beatles, "Got to get you into my life", Paul lately confessed was about pot, not a girl. And the song "Hotel California" also many believe is about drugs.

These are all songs that are kinda ambiguous.

The 'Power' remix is very interesting to say the least. I like the original more,but at some point the lyrics in the remix are just...hmmm...Shocking.
The 'Diamond' remix is also very good,feels quite right. Ratatat did a really good job on it.

Hmmm,so there are some songs on my mind right now,since we've gotten into this hip-hop thing at the moment...
