Tatkret

Name: Tatkret
Name Meaning (Inuit): Moon
Species: Siberian Husky/Wolf
Gender: Male
Age: 2 1/2 years
Appearance: Has sleek black fur, and a white underbelly. His tail has a bit of a curling effect, and his paws are rather large. He basically has husky attributes but with wolf size and several different teeth. His eyes are a sapphire blue. His right ear has a bit of it torn off, and the patch of fur on his head almost makes bangs over his eyes.
Personality: Relatively calm, and not quick to anger. He pities himself alot because of his situation, which is not being accepted by wolves or dogs. Unlike Balto, he feels resentment towards humans and other dogs for treating him differently because of his obvious wolf heritage. He isn't a heartless beast though, if he sees someone in trouble he would stop to save them. Tatkret is very cold and pessimistic when speaking with others, not really having any decent social skills.
History: He grew up in the forest, within his father's wolf pack. His parents were killed by a bear he was told, and so he was raised by his half brother. His life was quite miserable in the forest, with the pack despising him because of his mixed heritage. He received barely any rations of food, and they constantly picked on him because of his heritage. When he was old enough to support himself, he left the forest in search of a new home. He traveled to several small villages, but ended up leaving them because he was not welcomed by the community. He heard that Nome might offer him better treatment because one of it's living hero's was a wolf dog. He goes to Nome, in hopes of finally finding a place he could live the rest of his miserable life in peace.
Quote from a Fanfic I wrote:
Jenny watched with great disapproval as the young wolf dog walked away from her, his paws making deep and large imprints in the snow. "You can't let them go alone. They need a guide, and you know that! Unless you guide them, they will die!" Jenny shouted after him. The next words she said, might not have been the most sensitive to say.
"What would your parents think of you now?" Jenny blurted out.
He stopped in his tracks, and closed his eyes for a moment. How could she say something like that? She did not even know his parents. At least he thought so. He turned his head and looked to Jenny with a cold gaze. This gaze was alot colder then he gave any dog in all of Nome. "Why don't you go dig them up, and ask them."
