I'm looking to do a Harry Potter RP with my characters Ciel Huxtable and Henry Strange. Ciel is a Hufflepuff and Henry a Slytherin, if that's relevant at this point. I would like to start when the boys are either in their first year, or their third. This can take place at any time during the series' timeline, i.e. while Harry's in his first year, during one of the later books/films, after Harry's time, before Harry's time, doesn't matter to me. I just want to play these characters, so I've no specific plot ideas started yet, we can work those out based on your interests.

What I'm looking for in an RP partner is someone who can post at least two or three good paragraphs per post. I don't want something like:

"Snape walked down the hall skulkily, hatred for James boiling inside him. He stepped into an empty classroom and slammed the door. While he looked around the darkened room he thought to himself.

He wondered why Potter and his lackeys were so downright mean. His fists clenched. Then he heard a knocking on the door."

That technically is two paragraphs, but IMO it's not a full post. Obviously that's just something random I threw together for an example, but you get the idea.
Anyway, someone who posts quite a bit more than that.

Another thing is, I'd rather it be someone who's read the books, because there's more information in them than in the movies, and I might intentionally or not bring up details from them that were left out and confuse someone who's only seen the films. I won't turn away someone simply for only having watched the films though, just saying it would be smoother if you have read them!

here is a little prologue.

They were all staring down at me.
Their dark brown eyes slowly changing to dull red as the moon started to rise.
Jake stood in front of a boulder and nodded for approval.
"It's now or never." Those words were starting to ring into my mind
and I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes and I walked forward. I
sensed Lucas coming toward me, and his fangs grew closer to my
neck. I felt a sharp pain, and the moon passed.
I woke up - Immortal.

Hmm. I dunno, the formatting is a bit weird, and that doesn't really show me if you can do long enough posts, consecutively like what I'm looking for. I'll think it over.

Sorry if I sound mean or anything, I'm more looking for someone who's experienced with the kind of lengthy ones I do. Most people new to RPs are better to start with ones that have shorter posts than I like.

Not at all, thank you for responding. I will be happy to give you a chance one day, as you could potentially be a great RP partner, I just don't want to make a decision right now based on that alone. If no one else wants to do this, I very likely will get back to you if you're still interested in say, a week or so, maybe two? Does that sound fair?
