Well, after the debacle surrounding my last TLK RP idea, I plan on sticking to less out there ideas and do non-parody stuff for a bit. I seem to only be able to think up OT stuff at the moment. With the second movie coming out in May, this seemed like a perfect time to do this. It's based on an AU fanfic that I wrote, hence some of the differences to the real movie.

Title: Kung Fu Panda: Search for the Scrolls

Story: China is at war with an evil alligator warlord named Guan Long. The emperor, seeing this threat, has contacted Po and the other Kung Fu warriors. They have also discovered from a spy that the alligator and his army of crocodiles is after a set of five scrolls which, when read, give the reader powers over the forces of fire, ice, wind, lightning and earth. Po and Tigress, who are married with two beautiful daughters, a white tigress named Mei-Lin and a panda named Huan Ning, know that they must lead the war effort, send the girls and their three allies, Mei's handsome and strong-willed Snow leopard boyfriend Cheng-Ti, Huan's sly and crafty Red fox boyfriend Wei Wen and Yun-Li, a wise and shrewd cobra/viper hybrid who is the son of Master Viper and her cobra husband Lao Ai. Together, this group must find the scrolls. Complicating the issue is the arrival two Snow leopardesses, Ya-Yin and Fen Lan, who were Tai Lung's sisters-in-law and are seeking revenge for the death of their sister, Bai Jiang at the hands of Tigress.

As this is an AU, differences in canon character personalities are all right.

The characters here are not the same as the identically-named ones in "Ruler of the Bamboo Forest".

Ok, I plan to keep this thread as active as I can in order to hopefully encourage people to sign up. The scrolls will each be found in a different place:

The fire scroll- the library of the palace of the emperor of China

The ice scroll- an infamous cavern which is half-lava and half-ice

The wind scroll- the tomb of a well-known Kung Fu master

The lightning scroll- a village library

the earth scroll- in the collection of a village nobleman


Mei-Lin gets the fire scroll, Cheng-Ti gets the ice scroll, Huan Ning gets the wind scroll, Wei-Wen gets the lightning scroll and Yun-Li gets the earth scroll.

Ok, thanks to Sixshot and his idea to go ahead and open my other RP early, I have decided that, once my Aladdin RP is done, I will be doing the same with this one. The parts of Mei, Huan and the Wu sisters will still be open for casting and we'll just be played until someone agrees to take them.

I decided to open up Yun-Li again so it doesn't seem as if I'm being selfish and trying to take up parts. That means his part and the parts of Mei, Huan and the Wu sisters are left.
