My Lion King Forum

Hello good folks and fans of Lion King and Balto! Allow me to introduce myself. My 'name' is Majordomo, but you can call me whatever is easiest: Maj, Major, Domo...

My screen name comes from a line of Zazu's in The Lion King: "I, madame, am the king's majordomo" . I looked up the meaning, and it turns out it means "head of house", "butler" or "steward". I've had tons of people other places ask me what a domo was. Thought I'd clear that up right away.

*Ahem* Moving on. I am a little bit of an artist, and joined The Lion King Fan Art Archive (TLKFAA) about a year ago in order to learn to draw. I, primarily, am a composer, and have redone/arranged a few Lion King songs in the past. I also do a fair bit of acting, mostly on stage, so TLKoB hits a little bit of a soft spot for me. I'm also an Engineering student, specifically Mechanical Engineering, so a little bit of my nerdiness in that respect might come through in my posts, haha.

I look forward to getting to know all of you. I'll be glad to answer any questions you have about me, random or relevant, so long as they still meet within the board's guidelines (and, as I'm still very much new here, you guys would probably know what is better than I)

I've only been to see TLKoB once, but broadway's pretty close by me, so when I get enough money in my pocket, I'll probably hop on a train and go see it again . Well, that or Little Mermaid. I have a bit of a personal "to see" list, haha.

Yeah most of us, including me, haven't seen TLKoB at all. We've all heard it was good, though.

cool, I've seen TLKoB too, just not at Broadway itself. but I'm like totally isolated from places that show TLKoB or Disney on Ice
