So, uh, hi. I'm really bad at introductions. I'll do my best, though.

Your age... Do I have to say? Oh. Well, I'm 25 in 12 days, so I'll just say "I'm 25", and hopefully I'm not the oldest person in the universe.

How you found us... I logged into my TLKFAA account for the first time since eons ago, and just happened to catch an artist bulletin about this place. o3o Given the old Lilymud seems to have gone into hibernation, I was all "sweet, there's somewhere else for me to get reacquainted with my Lion King obsession".

Your history with TLK... The Lion King and me have an extremely long history with each other, in that it's been my favorite movie since I first laid eyes on it... As in, that's never changed... As in... I sleep with vintage Lion King bed sheets and comforter, because I'm a nerd with a problem and an extraordinary love for animation.

Actually, TLK might be the most important film in the universe to me. It's the reason I started drawing, and the reason I pursued a degree in Animation, and ultimately ended up with a career as an illustrator (although, ironically, I don't have the opportunity to draw very many lions. Boo). I wanted to make things like it, and that's sort of been a driving force for me over the course of my life. So much so, I actually had a Lion King lapel pin when I graduated from college. x-x

So, in short... It's long and arduous, and I could talk all day about this movie, how much it means to me, and all of the crazy shenanigans associated with my tremendous adoration of it. But I'll leave it at this.

What you hope to find here... o3o I suppose I'm just looking for a place to hang out, make some friends who are into the same thing I am, share some art, maybe RP a little bit... Ah. The works. Honestly, I was missing the TLK fandom, and I'm happy to see there's a place that seems relatively active.


All of that said, I'm just hoping to have a good time here.

I greeted you when you joined on the FAA but again, WELCOME! And I agree, TLK is the dearest thing to my heart! If I was holding my whole family off a 200 mile high cliff in one hand and I had my Blurays of all three movies in the other hand, and I could very easily just buy replacement copies of each bluray, I would drop my family just to make sure I wouldn't lose my grip on my Lion King blurays. Family comes and goes.....but The Lion King is forever! And yes, I checked to make sure I got that saying correct. And I was! So no one can say otherwise! I HAVE SPOKEN!!!
