My Lion King Forum

Hello guys. I am the newest member: Zaphod Scotsman. And I get my username from two different things:


Zaphod, a meerkat, who was featured on meerkat manor,


and the world's most famous steam locomotive, Flying Scotsman.



Of course, I'm not really that big of a train fan, though I used to be, I'm more into prehistoric life (mostly dinosaurs) and living animals nowadays. However, I am also interested in African wildlife, and OBVIOUSLY, The Lion King.

Since I am new, I would like to be treated with kindness until I know the forums better.

Did you ever see James May's The Great Train Race? He held a race using toy trains, but the course was some 2.5 miles long (easily breaking the record for longest toy train track). His favorite train that ran the course? Yup: the Flying Scotsman.

I don't know much about trains but I did use to watch Meerkat Manor a lot back when I had Animal Planet, it was such an interesting show! Zaphod was one of my favourites too!

Thanks for the welcomes people. Now, although I hate to sound pushy, I easily get annoyed when nobody checks out my stuff, though it rarely shows, due to feeling left out. In fact, I recently can up with a fan-fiction: http://www.mylionking.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&p=884376#p884376
