Fluffy Greetings

Hello :hey8:

I'm new here but I have been looking through a few threads over the last day or two in search of graphics. I realised how welcoming and friendly a place this is so I just had to sign up. I've been a Lion King fan since it all started in 1994; I was three years old. For a long time after that, I had a very abnormal obsession with adult Simba which many people found too weird. I don't know why exactly, but I could probably guess that it was his voice and personality that attracted me, either way I know I'm not alone in that. It made me feel really awkward, cause I liked a lion, but then I found others who agreed with me.

Anyway! aside from all that hullabaloo, I am very happy to now be part of this forum. My name is actually Lisa-Marie, and I don't mind which name I receive here as Wolfy works just as well. I turned 21 just under two weeks ago and honestly don't feel any different .. plus, I hate all the attention and don't understand the significance, which annoyed those around me who wanted me to celebrate. Hm, I can't think of anything else to say about myself really. Though, there is one small detail that is worth mentioning, because it means a lot to me and since summer, it's been a nightmare.

I had an orange lop eared bunny for just over one year before losing her to an untreatable medical condition in June. I don't know what possessed me to give her the name I did, but because of that name and the sadness I felt when I lost her, it's been very difficult for me to hear that name. I named her Kiara, so watching and hearing of Simba's Pride has had me in tears for quite some time. It is not as bad as it was, but it's still heartbreaking. I miss my baby bunny, but it made me appreciate the lioness all the more; more than I did when I first saw her in 1998.

My apologies for the essay! I didn't mean to write so much :guilty2:

Trust me. I have a huge Simba obsession and I love it very much. My obsessions are quite different than most teenage girls. Nothing is wrong with that. :happy3: Anyways, welcome. :)

Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better about it. I thought for a long time that it was a ridiculous way to feel about an animated lion, haha. Still, a lot of people seem to think of him in that way, and I'm very happy to know I'm not the only one.

And, thank you everyone else for the warm welcomes! :D

Thank you Tora :)

I miss my bunny a lot, but whenever I watch Simba's Pride these days, it helps me remember everything about her.
