You don't need to sign up for this: just place that banner in your signature if you want, and start greeting new members. It's that easy!

As DGF pointed out, there's no "sign up". You just pop the welcome team bar in your sig and start consistently greeting new members where you can
I know the OP is long winded, I need to edit it but 1) I can't be bothered at the moment and 2) I like to make long posts and ramble on sometimes.

I'd actually like to be part of this, for a while I've wanted to sort off pay back for the warm welcome others gave me. Count me in, only do I need the userbar in my signature? I know it's easier to identify me after and all but I try to keep a small signature (limited to my name for now) to not distract from posts written by myself or other users.
